We LOVE when international photographers send us work and this is the second time we have featured the incredible work of Paris Photographer Pierre and just love this beautiful lesbian engagement session taken in stunning Paris, France! Here is a little of Luiza and Gisele story and some of our favorite images from their engagement session!
Q: When, where and how did you meet and fall in love with each other?
A: It was 5th August 2013 when I first saw her. We both work for the same organization, and she was giving a speech regarding a subject that I was completely aware of - so I actually had planned not to be there. When I saw her, I could not avoid sitting, observing the flawless way she could talk about something she enjoys and hearing the sound of her voice, 'until the end of her speech. Some days after, I found the courage to send her an e-mail (she did no fave Facebook or any social media, which I found weird, hehe) inviting her do have lunch with me. After that, we could not avoid being together.
Q: Why did you decide to come to Paris?
A: Although we travel a lot, Paris was a destination we still haven't been. We were reluctant thinking that the city could be hard for the ones who did not speak French - and we were also under the impression that Paris could be a snobbish town. How wrong we were... After a week there, we felt deeply in love with the place - there is one Paris for each one, it is a city that embraces you.
Q: Which moment did you like most during your Paris trip?
A: The 13th of May was a very special day for us. We spent a very romantic day and, in the end, we had an amazing dinner and exchanged our vows of commitment, after I have Gisele a ring.
Q: What was totally different than expected in Paris?
A: The weather. Everyone said we would get bad weather, but we mostly got blue skies and beautiful days. Also, how everyone was welcoming with us. ///
Q: How would you describe your experience with the photoshoot? Which moment did you like most?
A: Photoshooting with you was really comfortable. To be honest, we decided to have some professional photos as most of the pictures we had we did not enjoy much. Also, we are kind of shy in front of cameras. With you, we were able to relax and act like if it was a regular day in our trip. It did not feel like posing or anything artificial. I liked crossing the streets and having the feeling that we had the entire city just to ourselves since there was almost no one. It was calm and peaceful. ///
Q: What are your plans for your relationship?
A:We will move in together the next semester, and we plan on getting married - or getting a civil partnership, considering where we are since we will move abroad. ///
